·         Applicants must possess a PhD in Library and Information Science from a reputable university, extensive experience in

·         Academic Librarianship as well as a mastery of the use of academic databases and open source electronic library management software.

·         A minimum of 9 years experience is required.

Job Title: Librarian I

·         Applicants must be familiar with the use of academic databases and various open source materials used in University Libraries.

·         Possession of a PhD will be an added advantage while 6 years experience in an academic library is required.

Conditions of Service

The appointment, which is to commence as soon as possible, is for three years in the first instance. It may be extended for specific periods or confirmed to retiring age.
