Assistant Chief Librarian (Polytechnic Library):

Salary Range: CONPCASS 08

Requirements

• Candidates must possess an MLS with at least six years of post-qualification cognate experience or a Ph.D.
• At least 12 years of cognate experience.
• Such candidates must have published a total of five conference/seminar papers, three journal articles accepted for publication or contributed two chapters in a standard edited book.
• Membership in a relevant professional body is mandatory.

Principal Librarian (Polytechnic Library)

Salary Range: CONPCASS 07

Requirements

• A candidate possessing a Master's Degree in Library Science with at least twelve years of teaching/research or industrial work experience must have published a total of three conference/seminar papers, three journal articles accepted for publication, or contributed two chapters in a standard textbook.
• A candidate possessing a Doctorate Degree in Library Science with at least nine years of teaching/research or industrial work experience must have published three journal articles and four conference/seminar papers.
• Membership in a relevant professional body is mandatory.
