Kwara State University is a research intensive university offering undergraduate and postgraduate academic programmes. It is situated in a serene rural area of Malete, a university community with high infrastructural facilities to enhance teaching, learning and community outreach.

Job Title: Librarian I (Main Library) - CONUASS 03
Location: Kwara
Department: University Library
Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a first degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of Second Class (Honours) Upper
• Candidates must possess a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and registerable for PhD Degree, with a minimum of three (3) years cognate working experience in an academic library plus at least five (5) significant scholarly publications in reputable national and International outlets or Ph.D In Library and Information Science.
• Computer literacy is not required.

Job Title: Librarian I (Institutional Repository) - CONUASS 03
Location: Kwara

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a first degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of Second Class (Honours) Upper
• Candidates must possess a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and registerable for PhD Degree, with a minimum of three (3) years cognate working experience in an academic library plus at least five (5) significant scholarly publications in reputable national and International outlets or Ph.D In Library and Information Science.

Job Title: Assistant Librarian (Engineering Library) - CONUASS 01
Location: Kwara
Department: University Library

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a first degree in any discipline from a recognized University with a minimum of Second Class (Honours) Upper
• Candidates must possess a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) and registerable for PhD Degree, with a minimum of three (3) years cognate working experience in an academic library plus at least five (5) significant scholarly publications in reputable national and International outlets or Ph.D In Library and Information Science.
• Computer literacy is not required.

Job Title: System Analyst II (Institutional Repository) - CONUASS 07
Location: Kwara
Department: University Library

Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• SSCE/GCE (O’Level) or its equivalent with at least (5) Credits including English Language and Mathematics.
• Candidates must also possess a University degree in Information Technology (IT) oriented discipline, i.e. Physics, Mathematics or Statistics with a minimum of Second Class (Honours) lower Division
• Postgraduate diploma in Computer Science from a recognized University or relevant Professional certificate. (Non- ICT oriented candidates).
• Candidates shown experience in Linus; Programming and digitalization will bean added advantage

Job Title: Library Officer - CONUASS 07
Location: Kwara
Department: University Library
Slot: 2
Qualifications
Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• SSCE/GCE (O’Level) or its equivalent with at least(5) Credits including English Language and Mathematics,
• Candidates must possess Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Information Science from a recognized Polytechnics or similar institution with a minlnstsns of Upper Credit.
• Candidates shown experience in an academic Library will bean added advantage
• Computer literate
