BMA Information Fund 2016 (Apply for developing country educational fund)

The BMA Information Fund provides health information and educational materials to health-focused organisations in developing countries and low resource settings.
Applications are now open for this year's fund. Find out how you can apply.
Who can apply:
           Healthcare institutions
           Medical schools
           Libraries
           Health-focused non-governmental organisations and similar organisations
How to apply
Step 1 - Select items from the book list
Top tips:
           Book lists that strongly reflect an organisation's aims are preferred
           Applications are limited to a maximum value of £2000
           You must state the total amount requested on the book list
           Due to the high delivery costs, applications are welcomed from UK organisations that have partnerships with overseas institutions
           There is a limit of three copies of each of the free items, subject to availability
           Calculate totals for each section on the book list: books; DVDs; CDs and accessories, as well as the overall total
           Do not make changes to the book list or delete parts of the form
 Step 2 - Send your application
Send your fully completed application form and the book list in one of the following ways:
           By email to: internationalinfo@bma.org.uk
           By post to: International Department, British Medical Association, BMA House, Tavistock Square, London, WC1H 9JP, UK
 Step 3 - Application deadline
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday 8 September 2016 (UK time) or until the cap of 100 applications has been reached.
We strongly encourage you to get your application in early.

 Step 4 - Notification
Successful applicants ONLY will be contacted by the BMA by 28 November 2016.
If you have not heard by then, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
Step 5 - Dispatch of books
Books will be dispatched from January 2017.
Successful applicants will be contacted when books are dispatched. All delivery is by airmail unless in exceptional circumstances.
 Step 6 - Confirmation of delivery
You are required to confirm when you receive the books or contact us if there any problems.
 Step 7 - Reporting requirements
After delivery, a short report with photos on how the educational materials are used must be submitted to the BMA.
If you your application is successful, you will be sent a template feedback form to fill in after you have received the books and educational materials.
